This is just another religion, you have an mpesa number for donations “offerings”, you are trying to win new converts “evangelism”, you are hoping to influence government policies to favor your agenda and you hold regular monthly meetings just regular Sunday services. I would really hate to be one of you guys. What determines the morals that you guys are hoping to get people to uphold isn’t? whats the motivation you guys have to do what is right?

By you definition, Arsenal Football Club is also a religion: they meet every week to practice and discuss game strategy, they have a huge fan base and they charge tickets to watch their games.

This post is long overdue for reply and clarification from AIK leadership. I once asked why your posts stay so long with no feedback, no changes! I though feel that AIK is no religion and running such organisations needs a flow of funds, it is after all a non-profit organisation. Just try and understand things have to run and meetings have to be there. It is no speciality for religionists and religion to collect monies, have regular meeting and trying to educate people on freethinking.
    AIK, check on posts.

Do you have to register to participate in the comments section (without necessarily joining the AIK group)?

The psychology behind atheism is also curious; atheism is the desire to never have to encounter God. So atheism is to atheists what religion is to religious people…the opiate.

I think the key difference is atheists abandon their previously held positions if there is compelling evidence. They don’t dogmatically hold on to ‘the world is flat’. Religion demands blind obedience without question conveniently packaged as ‘faith’.
