Bringing together non-believers …
Today during lunch hour, my two good friends bowed down to pray for food. I didn’t. Instead I watched them as they thanked God for their food. I literary spectated, I watched them as they mumbled a few nice words to the invisible sky God. I used to bow down and pray for food when I was religious a while back. I used to believe that somehow all the germs in the food died because the food was blessed. Turns out I was wrong. Praying for food is the dumbest thing Christians ever came up with. Simply because it does nothing to the food that you eat. To my fellow atheists, would you pretend to pray when your friend or family are praying for food, or would you simply look at them, eyes wide open like I did?
