Bringing together non-believers …
There is this fallacy that pastors like throwing around. That only through Jesus shall you be happy. They then go on to quote the verse in the bible that says – “Seek ye the Kingdom of God, and all these things shall be added unto you.” (Mathew 6:33).
And unfortunately, many many Kenyans believe in this bullsh*t. I want to say this, Jesus is not the way to happiness. Many people keep singing the name of Jesus, but they are not happy. Their marriages are in shumbles, they have no jobs, they are hungry, and they are not happy.
To be happy, you need to first have basics. Food, shelter and clothing. You then need good health. However much you should the name of Jesus, and you are hungry, you cannot be happy. If you are sick, you cannot be happy. If you are jobless, even if you go to church every Sunday, and maintain your virginity, you cannot be happy.
If you lose a beloved one, say a father, mother, sister or brother, even if you should Jesus on top of a roof, you cannot be happy. Death is saddening!
Happiness has nothing to do with Jesus, it has everything to do with life! The basics, attitude. Circumstances. Let no pastor or religious fellow cheat you!
