Jesus ain’t coming back!

atheist-come-backWhen i was a small boy, of about 10 years, there was this talk of Jesus, the Arab guy Africans believe in so much, will be coming back to the world. Like a goddamn thief. To pick his flock. The guy was to appear in the clouds and stuff like that. You know that time, i was naive, stupidly saved and all that nonsense. I believed that my name was written in the stupid book of life. So whenever i heard on news that an earthquake had happened in Indonesia, whenever i heard there was war, or some disease like Aids was killing many, i knew Mumia is about to meet this white Jesus guy, and fly to heaven with him.

Boy have i waited! I have seen many other world tragedies, and nothing happening. The idea that some Jesus will come back is a mirage. It is the greatest hoax Christians manuractu It is one of those things that Christianity invented to make man beholden to religion. Fortunately i realized this stupidity, and abandoned religion. Yet i know many of you are still waiting for Jesus.

Let me help you out. Jesus, that Arab, ain’t coming back. Just live your normal goddamn live, like the Atheist!

If you believe that God (or Jesus in this case) does not exist, why all the fuss/musing about His second-coming. Why not just pretend that there is no God, and that therefore there is no Jesus, then move on with the conviction you call “atheism”?
Why make be concerned over the second-coming of a man that does not exist? (Jesus and God are one.)

Its time we talked about these things. If you read my post, i talk about how i was saved once. There is a historical perspective, there is a change perspective. It is called sharing your experience. Why are you getting so irked? It is time to talk about these matters, the days of just keeping quit are over.

I am not “irked” as you are claiming I am. I am simply wondering why a “nonexistent” Arab (as you call Him) man should worry an already existing one this much… And by the way, it is good that we are talking about these things… but again, the issue about you once being saved does not make a difference in this argument. Everyone chooses his/her own path. You’ve chosen yours.

He is not coming. Its okay. Move on with your life, like an Atheist, why be concerned with a non existent God / Jesus….but wait a minute. Jesus himself, said he would come…and we know that he is the TRUTH….We also know that the father of all lies is the devil…now you are negating Jesus words and want us to believe the opposite…Why do I think, you are an agent of the devil?

Bonface allow me disagree, we must talk about these things course trust me, there is someone somewhere patiently waiting for ‘God’ to come and save them from their tears, the ‘god’ who is so busy balancing the universe that he doesn’t create time for his most precious creatures.

Maxwell, I agree that we should talk about. But I don’t know which God you’re talking about who is “busy balancing the universe” that He is not concerned about mankind. I thought that you believe that He doesn’t exist. But again, I’m curious to know where you found the information that God’s job description is “balancing the universe”.
And on the existence of the devil, that’s another thing altogether. Just to ask: do you believe that evil and good exist? Things like hatred and love, do they exist?

Harrison seems to suggest that since he has waited for a long time then that is evidence that Jesus is not coming back. That would be a viable position if he had told us when he was told to expect this event. As far as I know the categorical Christian position is that we do not know the day or the hour.
But yes , we do expect Jesus to come again , are indeed certain that he will.I will concede that if at the end of time he does not indeed come back there is sufficient reason to consider the Christian position stupid. Paul says that if the Christian position is not true we are to be pitied.
Would Harrison agree with me that if Jesus will in fact come back, and yet he , Harrison, has spent a lifetime denying it , the he is the one to be pitied ?

Hehehe. Choices have consequences. Make your choice and leave Christians alone. Faith cannot be argued in a logical way. If you want logic, stick to class and leave faith issues out of your logical explanation.

Oh, almost forgot. So if you don’t believe there is a God, what exactly are you arguing about? am lost. May be stupid since am a believer.

Psalms14:1 The fool says in his heart, “There is no God.” They are corrupt, they do abominable deeds, there is none who does good.
