Bringing together non-believers …

My Challenge to Christians!

I have always been amazed with how untroubled believers appear to be with God’s killings in the rapeBible. E.g Sodom and Gomorrah — The LORD rained upon Sodom and upon Gomorrah brimstone and fire from the LORD out of heaven. Gen 19.24

It surprises to see Christians defending these genocides and claiming that they are justified. One of the reasons they offer is that the victims were so evil that they all deserved to be killed. Others say that the Israelites were in need of land, so God allowed them to conquer neighboring territories. And some even claim that anything God commands is morally right by definition and that we have no standing to question this or disobey his commands.

So, I’d like to issue a challenge to Christians. Can you acknowledge that genocide is wrong even if God commands it? Can you agree that genocide is never acceptable including the genocides of the Bible? Are you capable as a Christian of condemning genocide without equivocation?

As a Christian, the God I believe in is a Supreme God, he is above human moral, logical, sense or rationality laws. The God I believe in does not need my or your approval,he does not need me or you or anyone else but he wants us.
He created the universe at his will and can destroy it at his will. You cannot expect someone that great to be subject to whatever you think is right.
We are under him and so are all our laws, our good deeds, our feelings good or bad.He says his thoughts are higher than ours. Our God is not someone you give conditions and standards to.
He can fold the Earth and all its inhabitants, its systems, laws, governments and all.
Such is the God we believe in. All the earth is at his disposal to do whatever he likes with because he is God but he is merciful enough to give us human beings a chance to be reconciled to him.
When you are a Christian and you get close to God, the more you know him, the more you realise how far apart we are, and how helpless we are. But you do not even believe he exists so you will probably never know that

Quick question though, most of your posts potray you as someone who disapproves of God’s actions and not his existence, you seem to say he exists but I do not like him, are really an atheist or someone who is simply angry at God?
